The certification body for Quality Management Systems of the JV «O'zbek-Turk Test Markazi» has received international recognition

      Currently in Uzbekistan a lot of work is done   to implement in enterprises Quality Management Systems conforming international standards. The Quality Management Systems Certification body   of the JV O'zbek-Turk Test Markazi has received certificate of accreditation from the Turkish Accreditation Body (TURKAK) (turkak.org.tr) – a member of the International Accreditation Forum IAF (www.iaf.nu). Now JV O'zbek-Turk Test Markazi can issue to domestic enterprises QMS certificates according to the international standard ISO 9001: 2008, which is recognized worldwide.

       It should be noted that currently the government is providing support in an every possible way to enterprises implementing Quality Management Systems. For example, their taxation base is reduced for the amount of funds invested in implementation of quality management systems, preferences are provided for certification of products that conform to requirements of international standards and for acquisition of technology for laboratory tests and examinations.

       As a result, the number of entrepreneurs wishing to implement QMS in their manufacturing process is increasing on a daily basis. Due to a growing demand, the number of QMS certification bodies is increasing, subsequently leading to improvement in quality and expansion in the range of services offered.
    If earlier those companies who produce export-oriented products compelled to apply for expensive international audits from foreign companies to certify their QMS that led to various cost structures due to organizational and procedural issues, nowadays domestic entrepreneurs are able to obtain domestic ISO certificate from the JV O'zbek-Turk Test Markazi which is equally recognized worldwide.
It is worth mentioning that audit will be conducted by highly qualified local experts. Consequently, the decision to issue a certificate is not made abroad but in Uzbekistan. It is also important that the payment for services offered is in the national currency (UZS).
