THE APPLICANT MAY:

  • select form and scheme of conformity validation stipulated for specific types of products in accordance with established requirements;
  • apply for certification to any certification authority, which scope of accreditation is applicable to the products to be certified;
  • apply complaints to accreditation authority in relation to illegal activities by certification authorities and accredited testing laboratories (centers) in accordance with legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
  • use technical documents to verify product conformity to the established requirements applicable to such products.

THE APPLICANT SHALL:

  • comply with terms of certification procedure established by product certification authority, and provide various information required for assessment of certified product conformity;
  • provide copies of certification documents in accordance with the requirements of certification schemes;
  • ensure stability of performance (characteristics) of products, which was confirmed by certificate of conformity in accordance with the requirements of regulatory documents;
  • put products subject to mandatory conformity certification into circulation after such conformity certification only;
  • specify information on certificate of conformity or declaration of conformity in accompanying documents;
  • fulfill established requirements and certification authority or certification scheme requirements to application of conformity marks and references to the product certification in mass media;
  • submit the documents certifying the products compliance with established requirements (declaration of conformity, certificate of conformity or copies thereof) to competent state inspection (supervision) authorities and interested parties;
  • suspend or terminate sales of products if certificate of conformity or declaration of conformity is suspended or terminated, except for products put into circulation in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan within the validity period of declaration of conformity or certificate of conformity, within expiration date or shelf life of products established in accordance with current legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
  • provide experts of certification authorities with all options during production analysis or inspection check-up (in accordance with certification schemes);
  • ensure stability of certified performance (characteristics) of products;
  • send prior written notice about all planned modernization (modification) of products, changes in its structure (composition), production technology, methods of testing and inspection, acceptance rules to product certification authority; implement planned modernization (modification) of products and other changes only if agreed with product certification authority issuing the certificate;
  • notify certification authority about any changes that may affect the fulfillment of requirements to products to be certified, including the requirements of established certification schemes;
  • suspend production of products that were checked for conformity and which do not comply with regulatory requirements, based on decisions of authorized state inspection (supervision) authorities;
  • in case of suspension or termination of certificates of conformity, the application of all promotional materials that contain any reference to certification shall be immediately stopped, and all documents shall be recalled from certification upon request of certification authority;
  • the application shall not use certification of its products to harm the reputation of product certification authority. The applicant shall not make any statements on its products certification, which can be regarded by the certification authority as inappropriate or misleading statements;
  • keep records of all claims (complaints) on certified products and immediately send written notification to product certification authority and take measures (upon discretion of product certification authority) on identification and determination of hazardous products.
