Schemes of product compliance validation by conformity certification

Specific certification schemes are determined in relevant regulations on homogeneous products certification and other regulatory documents containing requirements to homogeneous products. In this case, the scheme complexity associated with scope of inspections depends on product hazard level.

In each case, certification scheme is selected by certification authority based on applicant’s proposals, scope and terms of delivery, test methods, specific manufacturing features, risk of its stability infringement and potential hazard of these products to consumers.

Certification under international systems or agreements is performed in accordance with schemes stipulated in such systems or agreements.

Recommended certification schemes applied in the National Certification System of the Republic of Uzbekistan (NCS of the Republic of Uzbekistan)

Scheme No. 1 Is applied for standard sample certification and involves product testing in Accredited testing laboratory (ATL) based on required performance (safety performance primarily). This scheme is also applied if no clearly determined regulatory document (RD) is provided for the products.

Scheme No. 2 Is applied for standard sample certification and involves product testing in ATL aimed to check required performance. This scheme includes inspection check-up of products by test of samples taken in marketplace (from consumer).

Scheme No. 3 Is applied for certification of products and involves product testing in ATL aimed to check required performance and production analysis. This scheme includes inspection check-up at the enterprise and tests of products taken from manufacturer.

Scheme No. 4 Is applied for certification of manufactured products and involves product testing in ATL aimed to check required performance and production analysis. This scheme includes inspection check-up of products by test of samples taken in both marketplace (from consumer) and production field.

Scheme No. 5 Is applied for certification of manufactured products and involves product testing in ATL aimed to check required performance, production analysis or quality system assessment. This scheme includes inspection check-up of products by test of products and production analysis (or quality system assessment).

Scheme No. 6 Is applied for certification of quality system and involves its assessment and further inspection check-up.

Scheme No. 7 Is applied for certification of batch of products and involves product testing.

Scheme No. 8 Is applied for certification of each single product.

Scheme No. 9 Is applied for certification of products and involves declaration of products conformity to its safety requirements.

Products certified in accordance with schemes Nos. 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 and 9 can be labeled with conformity mark in established manner.
